Garland explains the origins of NATO as a fraudulent organization, a money-laundering scheme, and a cynical US instrument to project power and simplify the management of its European vassals, which America is now practically openly bent on exploiting. NATO was never intended as a "defense" organization, but rather as a weapon against Russia. But the West, in its hubris, badly miscalculated. It underestimated Russia's military and industrial capability, or even the kind of war it could face against a true peer adversary fighting a genuine existential war.

EDITOR'S COMMENT: As Garland notes in this provocative video, Zelensky's leverage was his usefulness as a performative puppet. He was made a symbol of the David—the little guy— facing the Russian Goliath, thereby eliciting sympathy and underscoring Ukraine's military inferiority to Russia and the urgent need to support it in the name of freedom and democracy. Such usefulness is now coming to an end, when some factions of the Empire seek some sort of dignified off-ramp that is not likely to include Zelensky. Perhaps a coup with Gen. Zalushny replacing him and suing for peace might be in the cards. That way the embarrassment of suing for peace with Moscow is transferred to the pseudo-sovereign shoulders of Ukraine via Zalushny, and the Neocons can go on to fight and make trouble another day.
The problem for Zelensky is that extravagantly rich as he may have become through his many thefts and bribes, with his leverage nearly exhausted, he is now facing isolation and probably physical elimination. The man knows too much. An end like South Vietnam's strongman Diem is envisaged by some, in fact extremely likely. The oligarchic West, in effect a mafia despite the elaborate cosmetics, is ruthless and can't afford to have him spill his guts to Putin and the Eurasian bloc. Having Zelensky suddenly doing a 180, would be hugely embarrassing to the US and its enormous disinformation machine. As some pictures of Zelensky at the NATO meet in Vilnius (going viral) indicate, he is now alone, and, I should add, widely disliked by his formal employers who have no respect for a crook and a traitor, even if, ironically, they themselves are all a bunch of corrupt Quislings with far less ideological integrity than the original Quisling.

I have seen zero evidence that Garland Nixon is an anti-capitalist. I doubt he even knows that his name has been placed just below an anti-capitalist graphic on this website. Like most folks with a functioning brain, he seems to recognize the vital importance of a genuinely free market. But we don’t have free markets, we have crony corporatism. Governmental regulations are not, broadly speaking, put into place to protect the public, but to insulate the established Corporatocracy from facing actual market competition that would benefit consumers at their expense. And if these entities were truly capitalist, they would NEVER… Read more »
But “Western Ukraine”, it it happens, will have to be heavily monitored and pledged to eternal neutrality, or else Russia should intervene again. Since the
“West” is far from accepting defeat, and has an ample stock of money and terrorists and misguided fanatics, the supply ofatacks on Russia will find another home in “Western Ukraine”. It’s really a hard to implement idea—who will guarantee its neutrality?
