Great discussion. After reading (and watching) prof Finkelstein on the subject for years I thought I knew quite a bit on this topic but I ended up getting new insights from the panel. The Western media is suddenly, (because of the Palestinian sacrifice), hemorrhaging images that can’t be denied in their shocking horrid value, so am sure many will now begin withdrawing their support for the Zionists. The Israelis are plain insane, and revoltingly hypocritical, like their sponsors. Many US politicians who support them (almost all I think), in their stupidity and corruption, a vile, pathetic bunch, are enabling their crimes, which is beyond disgusting. They should all answer to an international tribunal. Unfortunately, in a fake democracy like the US, I doubt anything like this will happen anytime soon, but we never know. NO ONE thought the great Soviet Union would disappear of its own volition, so to speak, but it did. The unhinged way US society is acting these days—more than the usual—promises more than a few surprises.
High time the world community (of decent people) liberated Palestinians from this depraved exercise in sadism represented by the Zionist entity.
Question for the panel: why did you call this program “Israel going rogue” when it’s been violently and undeniably rogue since its inception?
Blinkey does not really care if a million Palestinians are killed, he only thinks of the adverse propaganda which would harm the power with which the US controls so much of the Westen world. The destruction of Hamas is only a sideline. If one looks at photos of destroyed Gaza one sees that Israel wants to sweep clean the earth from human habitation, so that they can settle more (American) Jews and start to exploit the rich resources of Gaza (oil etc.). Netanyahoo is a smart man, and he knows that ethnic cleansing, as now used by Israel is a two-edged sword. One may succeed but it costs much in diplomatic hassles, but so far, he gets what he wants. There is nothing rogue about mutual policies, everyone gets what they want, Israel gets Lebensraum and the US confirmation of its power in the near-East.
A two-state solution for Palestine is a ploy to keep the bad status quo going and it plays into the hands of the imperial colonialists. This article calls for an integration of the populations into one state called Israel or not despite the racist fears of the Zionists that Jews will be once again second- and third-class citizens (as the Palestinians are now).
