Geostrategic analysts Andre Martyanov and Larry C. Johnson tease out the probable truth behind Israel's latest airstrike on Iran, an attack that many observers define as "limited strikes". Israel's ambitious military plans for the Middle East, while the country remains enmeshed in several wars, and the actual script followed by the US empire, Tel Aviv's main accomplice and enabler, remain hard to understand at this point since the US own military capability has been severely degraded as a result of Ukraine, Washington's over-reach, and the dramatic changes in battlefront technology (drones, missiles, etc.), which have abruptly rendered obsolete a great deal of America's war inventory. Larry and Andrei agree that IF it is eventually confirmed that Iran (probably with Russia's aid) was able to detect, stop and destroy most of Israel's missiles in this latest attack, the event will mark the end of US hegemony in the Middle East and in other flashpoints around the globe.

It should be clear that the soft pedaling of Israel’s attack on Iran is that Washington told them to hold off, because of the US election. An open war at this point would probably diminish Kamala’s chances because the US population is not very warlike at present.
