UNZ—Although armies have committed war crimes from time immemorial, never before have these been so thoroughly documented, with much of the evidence drawn from the social media accounts of the Israeli troops who gleefully filmed and uploaded the clips, presumably doing so to impress their friends. I doubt that any other military in the world has ever been so eager to boast of its crimes as that of Israel, probably because decades of near-total political and media impunity have raised the arrogance of its government, military, and citizens to unprecedented heights.

INDRAJIT—Russia now massively outproduces occupied Europe. Iran massively outproduces occupying ‘Israel’. China massively outproduces everyone. Industrial war is a game of industrial production and America has deindustrialized rapidly. They’ve outsourced much of their war production across long supply lines they cannot secure and they would depend on Chinese resources to attack China. America would be stupid to start World War III given these material conditions, but unfortunately they are.
LARRY C JOHNSON—ell, the freakout over the leak of the US intelligence documents regarding Israel’s preparation for an anticipated attack on Iran is growing in intensity. I missed something important in my initial review of the document pictured above. The varied classification of the paragraphs in the document tell a story. The overall classification is Top Secret//TK//FGI ISR//RSEN/NOFORN. In other words, a highly classified document that is not going to be widely disseminated. You not only need a TS clearance, but you have to be cleared for TK, FGI ISR, and RSEN. Without detailing what those letters mean (I will leave it to you to do the Google search), I can elaborate on the key acronym that appears at the end — NOFORN. That means no release to foreigners, i.e., anyone who is not a US citizen.
OLIVER BOYD-BARRETT—Kuzmarov cites Dr. Philip Giraldi, a former CIA official, as saying that he found it impossible to believe that “Israel did not have multiple informants inside Gaza as well as electronic listening devices all along the border wall which would have picked up movements of groups and vehicles.
A documentary by John Hankey shows footage of two purported Mossad agents opening the gates to the electric fence to Hamas fighters to allow them to enter Israel and carry out the terrorist attacks of October 7.
Summarized by Kuzmarov, the documentary “suggests that: a) Mossad knew in advance of the October 7 attack and may have helped to plan it; b) IDF officers were deliberately withdrawn to allow the Hamas invaders to enter the country and carry out their attacks; c) female IDF soldiers who reported on Hamas activities were deliberately ignored and then allowed to be killed; and d) many of the killings of Israeli civilians were carried out by IDF soldiers as part of the deception operation, whose purpose was to inflame Israeli opinion in support of war.”

PAUL EDWARDS—War between Israel and Iran with the participation of The Empire cannot be contained, and all potential combatants know it. If The Empire assists Israel to ravage Iran, Russia will enter the war on Iran’s behalf. If this occurs, it will threaten the entire world.
The morally cowardly world runs less risk in uniting to stop Israel’s mass murder now, based on international law, than in watching passively as Netanyahu attacks Iran. Uniting to stop the murder can and should be done forcefully and diplomatically, thereby greatly lessening the risk of war.
The Empire would have to be confronted, but not militarily. It could still opt for world war if Israel attacked Iran massively but, facing united opposition to that lunacy, it would have to act in defiance of the wishes of the nearly united world. Even our jejune, shallow, reckless minders would have to give that decision grave thought, or their defective version of it.
