Solidarity with the poor, the oppressed, and the weak includes our moral duty of protection and compassion toward animals, the most helpless sentient beings of all.

A kitten begged the Falcon, “Be my mom, Please”. so Falcon didn’t let me touch this kitten.
Thank you for visiting our animal defence section. Before leaving, please join us in a moment of compassion and reflection.
The wheels of business and human food compulsions are implacable and totally lacking in compassion. This is a downed cow, badly hurt, but still being dragged with chains to slaughter. Click on this image to fully appreciate this horror repeated millions of times every day around the world. With plentiful non-animal meat substitutes that fool the palate, there is no longer any reason for this enormous senseless suffering. Meat consumption is a serious ecoanimal crime. The tyranny of the palate must be broken. Please consider changing your habits in this regard.

There are several groups of caring men somewhere in the Middle East who daily feed the street cats and kittens and accomplish many rescues. Cat Care Squad is one group offering many videos of their kind work. Videos support their continued work. They scoop up tiny drenched kittens from the middle of the street, look for others and look for the mother. Often the children are able to help finding more kittens or an injured mother or, in one case, a father cat. They do take the rescues to the vet to be checked and treated, as necessary. They have comfortable spaces for all the rescues, and their caring compassion is evident and authentic to me. These rescuers take much pleasure and joy in helping and seeing once vulnerable and needy animals respond well to their care. While the rescue of the kitten and falcons is dramatic, it feels authentic. A hostile falcon would do serious damage. The matter of fact care given during the rescue seems a testament to the innate connection to animals these rescuers possess. Groups doing similar work are Tiny Paws Rescue Center, My Paws, Taddy Love Furry Friends, Feeding Street Cats, although I’m most familiar with Cat Care Squad. Having watched many videos, I see love, not exploitation. Search Cat Care Squad. Unfortunately, There is enough real pain suffered by animals to last until the end of time.
A few of the rescues I mentioned besides the Cat Care Squad might be ‘copy cats’ of the Cat Care Squad. Recently, a search on YT for Cat Care Squad gave little results for them; returning instead a freak show salad of disturbing videos. I know there are many of their cat and tiny cat rescues, but I think this group is open to helping any distressed creature. I will say at times the narrative created may get lost in the translation. But here is another that is typical, including the caring foster mother cat Ruby I’ve seen before.
