The place to be Monday night in Philadelphia was in front of the California delegation.
There, the rabble would not be silenced.
When Elizabeth Warren voiced her support for Hillary Clinton, the rabble began chanting — “Goldman Sachs, Goldman Sachs.”
When Elizabeth Warren said that “Hillary will fight to hold big banks accountable,” the rabble responded with “release the transcripts, release the transcripts.”
BELOW: Watch Big False Liberal Hope Elizabeth Warren trying to rally the troops around Hillary, and (we think) knowingly lying by telling them HRC would fight to curb Wall Street. How far are these clowns prepared to go to prove their loyalty to the system? She was rightfully booed by many.
When Bernie said he remembered Hillary “as a great first lady who broke precedent in terms of the role that a first lady was supposed to play as she helped lead the fight for universal health care,” the rabble, knowing full well that Hillarycare, like Obamacare, was written by the insurance industry, started chanting — “Medicare for all, Medicare for all.”
When Bernie said “I served with her, in the United States Senate and know her as a fierce advocate for the rights of children,” the rabble responded with “super predators, super predators.”
The rabble took the Hillary signs that said — Stronger Together — and blacked out the appropriate letters so that the signs read “Stop Her.”
The Hillary enforcers were besides themselves.
Young Ivy League men with two days growth of stubble, were eyeing the rabble while whispering to each other about what should be done.
In the hallway that rings the bowl, a young Hillary supporter disrupts a young man’s anti-Hillary performance art in the hallway and tries to rip his “Stop Her” sign out of his hands. (See video.)
And of course Bernie Sanders himself, texted his delegates before the convention “to not engage in any kind of protest on the floor.”
Bernie has switched teams.
He’s now on Team Hillary, while his supporters have joined Team Rabble.
Wall Street executive Barney Frank got booed as did comedian Sarah Silverman, who told the rabble they were being ridiculous.
But even the rabble who are Sarah Silverman fans were not placated.
Take college student, Bernie supporter and Silverman fan Willa Hahn.
“I don’t think Bernie or Bust people are being ridiculous,” Hahn said. “It is ridiculous is to expect us to bow to the Democratic Party which, in its current state, represents the establishment politics we’ve been fighting so hard against.”
“It’s especially ridiculous to ask us to bow to this party which we now know actually went against their own bylaws to work against our candidate. This is not how democracy is supposed to work. The DNC and Hillary’s supporters seem to be willing to do anything, to accept anything, as long as their candidate wins. But if we let things continue this way, democracy is dead.”
“And if the Democratic Party wants Hillary to win in November, they’re going to have to work a whole lot harder to get us to vote for her. They’re not going to pressure us and they’re not going to scare us, because we recognize that we have something to lose right now no matter who gets elected. Donald Trump is a huge threat to our country, to women and immigrants and Muslims and so many other groups of people, but Hillary Clinton and the DNC are a threat to our democracy and to the future of our country as well. And no speech from Sarah Silverman or Eva Longoria or Michelle Obama is going to change that — only action will. And they don’t seem willing to take that action.”
And that’s why the big question on Day Two is — what will Hillary’s enforcers do?
Will they continue to whisper to each other as the rabble continue to boo the corporate Democrats?
Will they stand by as the rabble boo Hillary on Thursday?
Or will the whip come down?
With Trump up five in the most recent polls, either outcome doesn’t portend well for Team Hillary.

Send in the clowns…(Sondheim)
These Punch and Judy shows of the National Conventions by the two establishment parties in the US are nothing but a shadow play to lure the unsuspecting public into voting for a presidential candidate of the elite’s choice. And thus it is not surprising in following the two super parties’ conventions in the USA to see true America display itself in the reactions of the average citizens that become delegates and in contrast to many another country it is striking how self satisfied they are and apt to use orgasmic hyperbole about the US and show their isolationism in their provincial thinking while being sadly full of self delusion. No wonder that the establishment has uncontested play over them. Wild inconsistencies in thinking as expressed in the huckster speeches are never noticed and these are swallowed whole as if the candidates for bureaucratic power are infallible like the pope. It is truly guided ‘democracy’ in action, giving the word a deeply redundant meaning. After hearing Bubba pronounce Hillary a saint, I decided to nominate ‘Repubmocrat’ Bonzo for office, the funny ape from the Reagan (remember him ?) movies, because I have heard on good authority that it is a smart monkey from Jaipour who has been hacking her emails…
PS I would also hereby like in the name of the many victims in and of this society to thank the Democratic Convention for the fine song:”What the world needs now is love sweet love”, preparing them for much of the same.
