ANDREW KORYBKO—Had President Putin not ordered his country’s special operation when he did, it’s very likely that Ukraine would have soon obtained these weapons and leveraged them with US support into blackmailing Russia into submission. The Russian Ministry of Defense shared the startling revelation on Sunday that the US was allegedly helping Ukraine illegally manufacture bioweapons.

People, and nations, have the right of self-defence. Self-defence is not an act of aggression. It is an act to prevent further aggression.

Not surprisingly, when the rules of the jungle prevail, just like in La Fontaine’s fables, aggressors on one hand conjure up for themselves the justification to kill, and on the other hand, they vilify the victims of their aggression when they try to exercise their right of self-defence.

Beginning with Belgrade, several Serbian cities saw big rallies in support of Russia’s campaign in Ukraine. For centuries the Serbian people, in peace and war, have felt close to the Russian people, and they too regard NATO an the US as a mutual enemy.

ANDREI RAEVSKY—In other words, what seems to be shaping up is that Russia will soon have control over entire Ukraine except for the western provinces (west of Vinnitsa and Zhitomir).  In other words, the war is over, at least militarily.  There will be a meeting between Russian and Ukrainian negotiators tomorrow, and it shall be interesting to see if something, anything, will come out of it.

The west is clearly determined to heroically fight Russia down to the last Ukrainian.  Russia wants to stop this operation as soon as possible, but only after her double goals of 1) disarmament and 2) denazification are achieved.

PEPE ESCOBAR—In Ukraine, the Americans are determined to fight to the last European soul – if that’s what it takes. This may be the last roll of the (nuclear) dice. Thus the next-to-last gasp at coercing Russia into submission by using the remaining, workable American weapon of mass destruction: SWIFT. Yet this weapon can be easily neutralized by rapid adoption of self-sufficiency.
