RAINER SHEA—The organized left acted subservient to the Democratic Party NGOs, and stayed confined to a niche element of student activists; because of this, it became irrelevant, and failed to sustain the pro-Palestine movement’s momentum. The “anti-establishment” camp that tails Trump is also confining itself in its own way. What this camp does is present a vulgarized version of anti-imperialism, one which lacks basis within class struggle; and when class struggle is absent from your practice, you won’t build a force that can actually defeat the deep state.

RAINER SHEA—The president has promised to have the U.S. occupy Gaza, using American troops if necessary. Even if that military action doesn’t happen, Trump most certainly wants to facilitate an ethnic cleansing, and this Gaza statement is meant to pressure Egypt and Jordan into helping with that project. The evil nature of this plan is so brazen, it will create a new and far more effective pro-Palestine revolt; that is, if the new pro-Palestine struggle can learn from the errors of the old one.

We must avoid the trap of an “anti-Trump” movement. We must avoid adventurist tactics, like blocking roads. We must not seek to appease the NGOs, like the established left orgs do. Conversely, we shouldn’t support Trump, or act like he’s a genuine threat to the imperial project. In regards to MAGA, the correct posture to take is one of calling out Trump for his betrayals of MAGA’s goals.

RAINER SHEA—Assad’s overthrow was not a people defeating their autocratic ruler. It was a foreign incursion into a democratic sovereign state, carried out by the Turkish neo-Ottoman regime and orchestrated by global corporate-financial interests. As much as imperial propagandists say it came from the Syrian people, the country’s people have not been “liberated.” They’re been victimized by malign global actors, and by theocratic terrorists who’ve replaced the secular state. The mass will is not with these invaders; the last time Syrians got the opportunity to vote for Assad three years ago, they overwhelmingly chose Assad.

RAINER SHEA—The next step will be to mobilize the types of leftists who view themselves as “antifa” warriors fighting the new Hitler. Like how the feds turned MAGA activists into FBI assets and then orchestrated a break-in, they’ll manipulate these left elements into pursuing other adventurist activities, potentially of a more violent nature.

This new false flag will need to be more spectacular than the last one, because for it to succeed, it will have to create real fear. January 6 was in large part a circus, where people were taking selfies in the Capitol and dressing up in goofy costumes.

RAINER SHEA—Last week’s BRICS summit provided a clearer sense of who will join in on the war against the U.S. empire, and who will acquiesce to the empire. Brazil, led by the supposedly anti-imperialist Lula, vetoed the entry of Venezuela into BRICS. And fascist India blocked the entry of Pakistan and Turkey, which was less surprising but still a setback. These developments represent a major twist, because there’s evidence that the U.S. color revolution apparatus has intended to target Brazil and India in the past; a report from last summer by the neocon think tank the Eurasia Group listed these countries as among the geopolitical “swing states,” the players that have potential to come into China’s orbit. After the work that Modi and Lula just did to assist in the hybrid war against BRICS, it’s less likely that Washington will try to overthrow them, because they’ve shown themselves to be valuable assets.
