AMERICAN PROPAGANDA

RICK STERLING—A major disinformation and censorship drive against SouthFront was recently launched.  On April 30 the SouthFront Facebook account with about 100,000 subscribers was deleted without warning or notice. On May 1,  SouthFront’s  main YouTube account with over 150 thousand subscribers was terminated. The English language channel had 1,900 uploaded videos with 60 million views over the past 5 years. While the SouthFront website continues as before, the above actions remove important distribution channels which SouthFront has painstakingly built up. The censorship has been accompanied by a parallel disinformation campaign promoted by corporate, governmental and establishment “think tank” organizations. 

CAITLIN JOHNSTONE—Obviously Graham is so deep in the closet he’s partied with the White Witch and Aslan the Lion, but the real scandal is that he is a closet psychopath. Jeffrey Dahmer didn’t leave a painful mark on our consciousness because he was gay, but because he horrifically murdered 17 people. And Lindsey Graham [like his beloved late pal John McCain] has helped kill a lot more than 17 people.

Some of the protests have turned violent, partly as a result of wanton police aggression backed up by heavily armed National Guard troops. There is also a big factor of general frustration among the populace and opposition to the massive social inequality under American oligarchic capitalism. The racist, brutish police are seen as the enforcers of a corrupt plutocracy.

ANDRE VLTCHEK—Absurdly, paradoxically, Western propaganda constantly accuses Communism of violence. But Communism is the biggest adversary of the most violent system on Earth, which is Western colonialism/ imperialism. Hundreds of millions of human beings have already vanished as a result of it, throughout the centuries. Hundreds of advanced cultures have been ruined. Entire continents have been plundered.

RAINER SHEA—The first step taken towards this solidification of internal control has been the manufacturing, through government and media propaganda, of a worldview that the people within the imperial core are now expected to accept. This worldview says that Russia and China need to be feared and hated, that socialism is an evil force which needs to be stamped out, and that those who challenge the official narratives are working in favor of the nation’s enemies. In other words, a resurrection of the American Cold War narratives-except now the information deemed to be “dangerous” or “treasonous” is primarily in the online sphere.
