RICKY HALE—Alternatively, the real killer never went to the woods and the rifle is a decoy. The simplest explanation is usually correct and it’s hard to explain how Robinson is the killer without tying yourself in knots.

How did he get onto the roof and reassemble a complex rifle so quickly with a screwdriver, recalibrate the sights, and also change his clothes?! How did he reassemble the rifle in the woods without the screwdriver and why did he bother? (Remember, gun experts are saying this would be highly difficult, if not impossible, even with the screwdriver.)

We are told that after the killing, Robinson returned to the woods to drop off the gun, placing it in a box that he wrapped in a towel. He was not carrying the box, so he must have returned to the exact spot to locate the box. Why slow down the get away like that?

Blumenthal reveals new insights into the events leading up to Kirk’s death, focusing on the intense pressure Kirk faced from pro-Israel forces, particularly a meeting in early August 2025 organized by billionaire Zionist financier Bill Ackman. Kirk was allegedly criticized and bullied for allowing Israel critics such as Tucker Carlson and Marjorie Taylor Greene to participate in his events, reflecting Kirk’s evolving views that conflicted with the pro-Israel lobby’s agenda.

PAUL EDWARDS—It has long been clear that our Capitalist system that deranges society with its injustice and exploitation, will never reduce the grotesque inequities that gall and oppress us, as it denies it is the force that drives many to despair, and the sick to distraction.

In America, the vast majority is entirely excluded from the profits of our massive economic engine which all go to Big Capital, thus creating great anxiety and insecurity.  Most people work for grossly inadequate wages, under tax laws that exempt the rich and corporations, and a predatory pay-to-play Sickness Industry.

A humane system, in which government works for the benefit of citizens was long ago ruled out to favor Big Capital’s effort to generate the most money with the least cost, excusing the state from concern for its people, and Americans have accepted this.

LAITH MAROUF—Blurred Lines Between Journalism and Political Activism: Sweeney’s experience highlights the dilemma faced by journalists reporting from conflict zones involving non-state actors labeled as terrorists. The state’s refusal to recognize journalistic necessity of contact with such groups weaponizes routine professional practices into evidence of complicity or support. This conflation undermines objective reporting and restricts the public’s access to a fuller understanding of the conflict.

PG—Boiled down, U.S. politics under today’s mature capitalism are not about the welfare of the demos (i.e., the people) as envisioned in classical notions of democracy, but rather about which party can best deliver profitability to investors and corporations. There are continuing debates between those who simply want to slash labor costs, taxes, and regulations for the rich, and those who want to do some of that but also use some regulation and government spending to encourage higher wages and demand-driven growth. Both sides, however, accept that making the economy profitable for the owning class is the sine qua non of successful administration.
