European politicians depend on Washington for their power and privileges, It's highly likely that their war preparations against Russia are actually encouraged by the Americans.
Another cycle of world-war scare-mongering has begun, as Europe gets whipped into a panicked frenzy. The reasons are manifold.
For one, Europe has entered into a political and economic crisis, and so distractions now are more necessary than ever before. For citizens to be able to endure the coming hardships, they must be made to feel that those hardships are absolutely necessary for their survival. For this, there’s no better propaganda outlet to beat the drums than the Orwellian BBC:

The government wants us all to start preparing for severe disruption to our lives. It wants us to stockpile canned food and drinking water, strengthen our civic resilience, and plan for the possibility of war.
Work has begun on the government’s so-called “war book”, which hasn’t been updated in decades.
The UK’s most senior soldier has sounded the alarm. The Chief of the Defence Staff Sir Richard Knighton this week said the threat from Russia meant Britain was living through the “most dangerous” period of his 35-year career in the armed forces.
The loaded question is asked in preparation for the equally loaded answer, meant to prime the impressionably oppressed minds of the British populace:

The belief that we are under threat is key, says psychologist Jim Orford, professor emeritus of clinical and community psychology at the University of Birmingham. "It is what I call simplistic thinking. In order to contemplate the possibility of going to war we've got to think in simplistic terms. In terms of enemies and heroes. We've got to think of Russia as an enemy. The narratives are all simplified.
He states the plan openly, a kind of candid episode of hypnosis for the suggestibly brainwashed; a masterclass in manipulation, no doubt.
In a coordinated burst of messaging, European leaders and institutions began to warn of a major “crisis” looming ever closer:

Most of the stir-up happened as consequence of two European summits this past week, the NATO Military Committee Conference and Zelensky’s new “Carpathian Eight” Summit, featuring Poland’s Tusk and other leaders.
The newly coordinated psyop campaign is planned around a phony false flag which would feature Russian “hybrid attacks” on NATO’s so-called “eastern flank”. From the above Meduza piece:
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk told parliament that Russia is planning “hybrid” strikes using missiles and drones against countries that support Ukraine.
Tusk cited intelligence assessments, the Reuters news agency reports. “There is a real risk that drones or other types of missiles may fly into the territory of one or more NATO countries on the eastern flank, even cause destruction,” he said.
“These potential strikes would be quote-unquote ‘accidental’ in nature, intended to paralyze or at least weaken the resolve of NATO states to invoke the relevant NATO provisions in the event of aggression against a member country,” Tusk said.

Virtually every Western MSM publication has joined the infernal chorus of sensationalist warmongering, despite most such “attacks” being falsely attributed to Russia with Ukrainian drones or saboteurs behind it each time—a fact naturally swept under the table:
It is the classic mark of military genius: when your country is collapsing and losing a major conflict, as Russia is said to be doing against Ukraine, the best thing is to promptly invade the largest military alliance in the world to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. This is what European sock-puppet leaders are selling to their gullible hoi polloi; but are they buying it?
Putin affirms that Europe is continually preparing for war against Russia, and correctly advises the reasons as to why—to deflect from its own poly-crises as we stated earlier:

Several days ago Polish buffoon FM Sikorski stated that Europe would defeat Russia “quite quickly” and easily if Russia tried anything. That being the case, it’s a wonder then why the Europeans would act so worried.
In reality, Europe is mired in growing crisis and needs a major outlet for public frustrations and discontent.
There is also the angle that Trump now plans to potentially pull a large amount of US troops from the embattled and embittered continent, which has emboldened theories that the US is, as ever, deviously pitting Russia against Europe in order to profit from the ensuing destruction of its economic and geopolitical rivals:
All the while, Ukraine remains in dire straits. Zelensky’s previously announced campaign against Russian airports and “skies” has amounted to nothing. It’s unknown whether this came by way of the US walking him down from the ledge via back channels or whether he was bluffing from the get go, and never actually possessed the capabilities to carry out the overly ambitious plans.
One Russian channel proposes why this may be the case, arguing that to send swarms of 900 daily drones into Russia could cost Ukraine as much as $50M per day:
The Fascinating Economics of War: Why Massive Drone Strikes on Russia Pose a Significant Challenge to Ukraine's Budget
On the night of September 18th, on the eve of parliamentary elections, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a massive drone attack on Moscow and surrounding regions.
However, the enemy's plan failed – over 900 drones were shot down by Russian air defense forces. Prior to this, it was reported daily that 200-400 Ukrainian drones were being intercepted.
What is the significance of all this data? It's about money. Drones are undoubtedly cheaper than advanced missiles costing millions of dollars, but they still cost tens, sometimes hundreds, of thousands of dollars.
So, Kyiv launches nearly a thousand drones, of which approximately 95-99% are shot down. How much does this cost? If we assume that one drone costs $50,000 (which is roughly 5 million rubles, and the price is likely much higher), then the cost of a single barrage is approximately $50 million. And of course, there is a financial cost associated with this, more than zero, but it is still significantly less than the cost of launching the drones.
Therefore, it turns out that the launch of Ukrainian drones has long been a costly endeavor for Ukraine's budget, while the damage to Russia is comparatively much smaller.
Yesterday a Reuters piece quoted head of the Ukrainian Parliamentary Budget Committee as admitting that Ukraine’s daily war costs are $190M. This would mean such a drone barrage could make up a significant portion of the entire allotted military budget for each given period. This should quickly demonstrate why such massive sustained drone campaigns are in fact not sustainable for Ukraine, and any claims to the contrary by Zelensky are fibs meant to give the impression that Ukraine still has a chance to do anything significant against Russia.
Let’s refresh our memory as to how Ukraine’s new “40-day campaign” of “aerial sanctions” against Russia has gone. From threats to begs for ceasefire:
Interestingly, two days ago Polish PM Donald Tusk made waves by seemingly being the first European leader to openly voice Ukraine’s true monthly casualties. He states that it is the Ukrainians themselves who have informed him that the rate is currently at 27,000, both killed and wounded:
Recall that just last month Ukraine’s Budanov himself admitted that Ukraine requires 30,000 monthly fresh “recruits” in order to sustain what is already there:
As such, we can safely assume Ukraine’s casualties are roughly where we knew them to be all along, at the 30,000 per month mark. This should theoretically break down to something like 1/4 to 1/3 being dead, and another 1/4 or so being heavily wounded and taken permanently out of action, with the remainder being lightly wounded. Out of 27,000 - 30,000 total, this could amount to about ~7500 monthly dead, another ~7500 permanently wounded, and 15,000 lightly wounded.
Recall that for now this remains relatively easy for Ukraine to replace. Ukraine has about ~25 administrative regions, each with roughly ~1,000+ settlements, towns, and cities. This is roughly 25,000 total settlements. For 30,000 men per month, Ukraine needs to recruit 1,000 men daily, that is just one “fighting aged male” from each settlement, or 40 from each of the 25 major regions, which is not an overly impossible task for tens of thousands of TCK “recruitment officers” to accomplish. But, nevertheless, the pool continues to shrink daily, which further diminishes the pool of workers for Ukraine’s industries, which include those of vital defense production.
As ever, the swelling wave of European crisis-mongering is naught but a reaction to Ukraine’s dwindling support and growing budgetary deficit. Various emergency plans have all failed, and Ukraine is again running out of ways to fund its ballooning military expenditures.
At his inaugural C8 summit, Zelensky characterized the deficit as “astronomical” and in need of urgent action:
This winter will require extraordinary effort and money to sustain Ukraine, which will take inordinate damage due to the growing disparity between Russian firepower and dwindling Ukrainian air defense capabilities.
There is likely very little Europe will be able to do, beyond merely patching more holes with short term stopgap measures, and the situation is sure to continue its natural decline.
