Does history warn us about this insidious tool of imperial policy? Yes it does. While the clueless, self-absorbed denizens of the empire go about their business, more plots are being hatched and implemented to facilitate their gradual enslavement—along with the rest of the planet. Sounds like a conspiracy but it’s really vaster, simpler and more amorphous than that, the product of the capitalist dynamic, plutocratic class politics at the global level.
