Annotated by Patrice Greanville
In this program John Oliver interviews Edward Snowden, the NSA defector who exposed some of US intel's dirtiest secrets. Like the extensive surveillance inplemented by the oligarchy over mostly unsuspecting Americans (and just about every other human being on the face of the planet). Apparently, through silly jokes that largely dilute the seriousness of Snowden's testimony, and even his integrity, Oliver may have gotten past the invisible censors and still convey some of the truths that need airing. We won't pass final judgment on Oliver's work, here. Watch the episode closely, and make up your own mind. If you do, leave us a message.
