PATRICE GREANVILLE—The all-out demonisation of revolutionary leaders is an old habit that has become almost an industry in the capitalist West. The defamation of a leader about whom the masses are not just massively ignorant but aggressively disinformed is a devious shortcut to the demonisation of a nation and its threatening system, in this case communism, the direct antidote to capitalism, threatening, that is, to the class interests of the bourgeois elites that control the West.

Breaking News: New York Times Comes to the Defense of Julian Assange
Apparently, the TV presstitutes are still waiting for "orders" before joining the legacy newspapers.4 minutes readP.C. ROBERTS—Through a joint letter published on Monday, The New York Times, The Guardian, Le Monde, Der Spiegel, and El Pais asked the United States to drop the Espionage Act charges against Julian Assange because it undermines press freedom.
MIKE WHITNEY—Another day of large-scale missile attacks on Ukraine’s hobbled energy infrastructure has plunged much of the country into darkness. The relentless attacks—which continued through the night and into the early morning hours—have intensified dramatically as Russian combat troops continue to join their units along the perimeter in preparation for a major winter offensive. Russian President Vladimir Putin has waited patiently for the Zelensky regime to grasp the gravity of their situation and press for bilateral negotiations. But the Ukrainian president has stubbornly rejected diplomacy at every turn opting instead to fight til the bitter end. He is fully supported in that decision by his backers in Washington who see the conflict as an opportunity to weaken Russia
European Union pretends to debunk “Russian lies” by publishing document listing Moscow’s “disinformation”
The corrupt US Eurovassals are eager members of the Russophobic club. They need little prodding from Washington to do its dirty work.14 minutes readThe material below appeared in March, 2022 on an official European Union website. In perfect Orwellian mode, what they claim is Russian lies is actually all true. We have observed this posture long before there was a Russo-Ukraine war, in fact malicious Russophobia and false flag accusations have been hurled at Moscow for decades as part of the Western establishment’s effort to demonise an ascendant Russia. Today, even on the brink of World War III, the colossal hypocrisy of the West’s ruling elites prevents any kind of honest dialog. When will reality finally begin to make a dent in their contemptible behaviour? That we cannot tell at this point, but for the sake of humanity we hope it will be soon. Facts on the ground, after all, carry their own eloquence.
BATKO MILACIC—In the Russian mentality, mockery and mistreatment of prisoners is unacceptable. You can kill the enemy, but not torture. Russians in their ideology have always opposed themselves to the German Nazis with their concentration camps and gas chambers. So, if someone posted a video of the torture and murder of captured soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian audience would explode with indignation, recognizing the perpetrators of such acts as war criminals.
However, the true reason for the appearance of Ukrainian torture videos lies not even in the different mentality of Ukrainian nationalists and Russians. In fact, Kiev propagandists deliberately give the green light to such videos. This is primarily done to scare Russian soldiers and reservists. And official Kiev does not pay much attention to these crimes.
