EDITOR—In this eye-opening video, Norman Finkelstein shares his unique perspective on IS GAZA REALLY GONE? Norman’s take on war, genocide, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is controversial. Get ready to be shocked and enlightened by his unique but compelling stance on these critical issues. Norman Finkelstein compares Israel’s genocide with that of Nazi Germany’s genocide of the Jews, not a “war” but a project of systematic elimination. Today, he considers Oct 7 a political disaster. Then he addresses allegations against him of being pessimistic in his arguments that GAZA is dead.

BLOWBACK PANEL: The Ideology of Empire
94 Mins / Watch! readEDITOR—The panel discusses the various ways the ruling elites in the US and the West manipulate ideas and concepts to control mass consciousness about sensitive topics, especially in foreign policy, while hiding the true face of capitalism and imperialism, and the horrific costs it imposes around the globe and at home, as Americans are finally beginning to understand. Discussed: Syrian history and recent developments, nature of the “Syrian regime”; the West’s losing competition with China due to her superiority in socioeconomic and political organization (central planning, etc.); ditto for Russia, and how well applied Marxism is not dogmatic but pragmatic (allowing for capitalist firms to operate under party control); ideological concepts used opportunistically by the US ruling class to control the narrative (“branding”—like who gets called “dictator”, “authoritarian”, “ally”, etc.); mythology of US exceptionalism to justify supremacism/hegemonism; moral superiority; informational confusion and work pressures hindering mass awakening by ordinary citizens, etc.
BRIAN BERLETIC and ANGELO GIULIANO discuss all the difficult to sort out and discern historical vectors that led to this point of Syrian collapse, a tragedy carefully planned for and scripted by US/NATO thinktanks, whose sponsors are now busily trying to implement the next part of their schemes to provoke and bring down Iran. How will Russia (and China) react to THAT domino is now the big question facing the world, and especially the BRICS alliance.
New Atlas LIVE: Iran Strikes Back – Tehran Steps into US Trap, is it Prepared? The New Atlas
Is Hamas being used as a pretext and a proxy to smash the Palestinians and above all destroy Iran?4 minutes readTHE NEW ATLAS—Brian and Angelo are cautious regarding recent events in the Middle East. They believe the US Hegemon (with Israel’s conscious or objective assist) may be playing intricate and highly devious games to detonate a regionwide conflagration. Hamas, for one thing, may have been chosen by Israel and the US to play a divisive role among Palestinian factions, while maintaining the image of a fanatical anti-Israeli threat, eventually even allowing Oct. 7 attacks to permit Israel and the US to flatten Gaza, and provoke Iran and other members of the anti-Zionist/imperialist alliance to step in, thereby justifying, again a reasonable “response” that would destroy Iran and the forces resisting Western hegemony. In that sense, Oct 7 would be analogous to 9/11, a pretext to launch a vast imperialist campaign.
MIDDLE EAST UPDATE EPISODE 32 – ISRAEL IN DEEP AND SERIOUS TROUBLE
EDITOR—Laith and Garland comment on current events in the Middle East, the Ukraine, and US politics. Laith and Garland’s shows are being severely censored—shadowbanning and other forms of “algorithmic deletion”—are being applied, with the result that their platforms have lost considerable traffic. Only after some energetic protests did the invisible censors in charge of YouTube, Twitter, etc. relented some, but the ultimate outcome is still obscure. Commenting on the war in Gaza and Lebanon, Laith offers invaluable news and clarifications not found on regular media channels. He notes that key information and political personnel of pro-Palestinian and Hezbollah organisations continue to be assassinated, Israel’s favourite way of fighting. He also notes that America’s special envoy, Hochstein, who expected a complete cave-in by Lebanese leaders, a surrender, was practically given the finger by Lebanese authorities and went home empty-handed. Laith stresses that the IDF is not making much headway into Lebanon, despite their massive use of firepower, etc. Meanwhile, Israel’s campaign to invade and occupy Lebanon is costing Tel Aviv (and Washington) dearly in terms of equipment and personnel. The Axis of Resistance continues to attack Israeli targets, while the Zionist/American alliance increases its pressure on all parties in hopes of breaking the anti-Zionist forces.
