Col. Wilkerson tries to sort out the truth, lies, and direction of Trump's policies in his statements, but admits it is not easy, as Trump himself appears to still have a blurry picture. Trump waxes poetic about the rebuilding of Gaza, but he sounds much more like a real-estate developer than a statesman. The Colonel has few hopes about the Trump 2.0 tenure, as the track record of the Empire is clear for all to see, and it is disgraceful. With Neocons like Rubio in his cabinet in a key position, the future of the Southern continent looks pretty dark. Trump wasted no time putting Cuba in the "terrorist" list, again.  Havana saw a weak light of normalisation for 96 hours. "Cuba has been sanctioned to the hilt, listed as an international terrorist state for 60 years, but Cuba has NEVER been a terrorist state,” says the Colonel. "It’s been a blockade, an act of war. And our posture never changes. Our strategy is pretty simple. We go into Latin America and get the top 5 or 6% layer to work with us to control and exploit the country. These people (wealthy compradors) become or remain extremely rich, doing our bidding and enjoying our protection. The rest of the people we don't care one whit about. The hell with them.” Even under JFK or FDR, we raped, pillaged and couped anyone we wanted. That’s what we do. Wilkerson, needless to say, sees a very problematic future for the leaders of Latin America, especially the Ortegas in Nicaragua or Pres. Maduro in Venezuela.
