Despite the explicitly genocidal rhetoric of Israeli officials, Western leaders continue to proclaim their support for Israel’s right to “defend itself.”
But this war on Gaza is different from past wars, not only in the level of Israeli aggression, but in the reaction on the street, from the Middle East to the United States. Israel is losing the narrative war. Most people want to see a ceasefire and tens of thousands have protested across the US to demonstrate their opposition to Biden’s unconditional support for this genocide. To discuss Israel’s genocidal onslaught in Gaza ahead of a looming ground invasion and how it has the potential to snowball into a catastrophic regional war, Rania Khalek was joined by journalist Abby Martin, creator and host of The Empire Files. There are some acts so unimaginably sickening and despicable that even a LEMSO* rag like the Guardian is forced to admit the reality of such EVIL.
Such was the delayed, agonising murder of 6 year old girl Hind Rajab, preceded by prolonged horrific emotional and mental torture inflicted by sadistic Israelis.
First the Israeli Demonic Forces sniper shot her parents and older sister. Hind, trapped in the car with her dead family, pleaded on a phone to be saved by an ambulance. The IDF promised safe passage to the ambulance but when it arrived they shot and killed the ambulance officers. Whether the IDF then shot Hind was unclear, but her decomposed body was found in the car wreckage days later.

This tactic has been S.O.P. by the IDF for decades. The IDF committed MANY such “double tap” murders of civilians/medics in 2018 during the peaceful “march of return” to the border fence by the Gazans.
The IDF now want to slaughter more than a million people they forced into the tiny area of Rafah, people suffering from starvation, dehydration, disease and hypothermia, 70% of whom are women and children.

As for the propaganda, it is very cleverly manipulated to reflect the disbelief most Americans developed versus their ‘news’. When atrocities by Israel in Gaza are illustrated, they do not believe what they see or read or hear on their media but assume that it is propaganda. Thus, Israel goes scot-free in many eyes.
