SPUTNIK GLOBE

We are therefore reposting it, with extra security code, to prevent a recurrence of such sabotage. We'll see if it works. As our audience knows, the Ukraine war is one of the most heavily censored events in modern history. The Collective West, jealous of its huge advantage in propaganda, is enforcing an extreme form of narrative control. Not just Russian media—long censored and boycotted in various parts of the EU and US under various pretexts—but any dissident voices in the West, contrary to their vaunted "freedom of speech" traditions, are being silenced by covert edicts of the government or the media itself, which merely implement the Western imperialist interests of their owners. Under such circumstances of extreme hypocrisy, and risk of even a nuclear war, we regard it as our duty to publish any voices that, in our opinion, bring truth to the forefront.—The Editors
The veteran former US Marine Corps intelligence officer, UN weapons inspector, geopolitical observer and Sputnik contributor has spent over a year providing incisive commentaries about the NATO proxy war against Russia in Ukraine, challenging the Western mainstream narrative and offering his own perspective on the origins of the crisis.
YouTube allows for user-based reporting of any alleged "hate speech," prompting concerns from content creators over the years that the video hosting giant lets organized online activists to silence voices and views they might not like or agree with, or which challenge important state and corporate narratives.
Ritter Reacts
Part two of Scott Ritter's reaction to YouTube's decision to deplatform him.
"Those who are behind this should know - you won't succeed. There is a vast social media world out there beyond YouTube. And for those voices who still use YouTube as the primary vector to your audience, understand this - conform or perish. If you're doing a geopolitical show, and you're still platformed by YouTube, ask yourself why. And be willing to live with the answer," he added.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has assessed that, since the Ukrainian counteroffensive began in early June, the Ukrainian Army has suffered some 43,000 casualties, with more than 4,900 pieces of equipment, including 1,831 tanks and infantry fighting vehicles (among which are included 25 German-made Leopard tanks and 21 US-made M-2 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles) having been destroyed.
The failure of the Ukrainian counteroffensive, according to the Ukrainian leadership, was directly attributable to the inability of Ukraine to suppress Russian artillery and airpower, both of which, when combined with the extensive use by Russia of mines in preparing their defenses, prevented the Ukrainians from achieving their goals and objectives outlined for the operation, namely to break through the Russian defenses and capture the city of Melitopol, thereby severing the land bridge connecting Crimea to Russia.

Thanks for this alert. I shared this to FB. Here’s how I introduced it: “Just one more example of how corporate media – including social media platforms – are in an all-out war on the 1st Amendment. YouTube’s explanation is that his account was terminated for “multiple and severe instances of hate speech”. I’ve read and listened to Scott Ritter for some time. A former part of the weapons inspection team sent to Iraq, he tried to alert politicians that they found no evidence of WMD there; and that they should let the verification process continue. For that he became a pariah. Now he… Read more »
