Unfortunately, he doesn’t go far enough, as systemic corruption can’t be rooted out without uprooting the system, in this case capitalism. Nor can we expect, as he seems to insinuate, “the president,” to do something about this endemic issue because he’s obviously part and parcel of the problem, as solidly bought and complicit as the entire “two party system,” and the rest of the US political class.
