CALEB MAUPIN—Most people remain confused as to the role of Trotskyism in the Communist movement. In this chat, Caleb talks about Trotsky’s split from the Stalinist wing of the Bolsheviks, his exile and ulterior career in opposition to the Soviet Union (a supposedly bureaucratized state socialist regime with a supposedly new ruling class). Eventually, different factions of Trotskyism became anti-communist agitators (which suited the capitalists fine), and later, some of Trotskyist leading intellectuals abandoned Marxism altogether and became the notorious Neocon phenomenon of rabid US imperialism at any cost.

AOC increasingly heckled at recent town halls as more people begin to see through her phoniness
16 minutes readThe betrayals of the Democrat party DSA-connected “Squad”, comprised of supposed populists such as Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Cori Bush, Jamaal Bowman, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), “AOC”, have provoked a great deal of disappointment and backlash among perennial believers in the progressive promise of the Democrat party. The same level of angry frustration applies to Ro Khanna, who represents California’s 17th District, the heart of the Silicon Valley. Still, few self-proclaimed “leftists” in the Democrat party catch as much fire as AOC, given her outsize personality and the many proclamations of anti-establishment posture that preceded her election.

STALIN: THE HISTORY AND CRITIQUE OF A BLACK LEGEND
23 minutes readPATRICE GREANVILLE—The all-out demonisation of revolutionary leaders is an old habit that has become almost an industry in the capitalist West. The defamation of a leader about whom the masses are not just massively ignorant but aggressively disinformed is a devious shortcut to the demonisation of a nation and its threatening system, in this case communism, the direct antidote to capitalism, threatening, that is, to the class interests of the bourgeois elites that control the West.

JIMMY DORE—Since Roe v Wade was first decided nearly 50 years ago, Democrats have had any number of opportunities when they controlled both houses of Congress as well as the Presidency to “codify” Roe into law and guarantee legal abortion in all 50 states. Obama famously promised on the campaign trail in 2007 that codifying Roe would be his first priority but then once elected he made it clear he had no plans to do anything of the kind. So it is with no little suspicion that many are greeting the recent pledge from Joe Biden that if the Democrats emerge from the 2022 midterms with a Democratic House and two more Democratic senators he will do what Obama promised and pass legal abortion across the country.

CYNTHIA MCKINNEY—Putin spoke of the Anglo Saxons. That’s poignant and purposeful. There are people who realize that the U.S. has veered off track. But, they think they can “take our country back” without forming a coalition with other newer and older “Americans.” As long as the rallies of today’s “patriots” look like Ku KluxKlan meetings, these rally-ers will lose. Maybe the idea of forming a coalition that is truly inclusive with people from different races and differing religions, and even with no religion—is the central Anglo-Saxon problem. For, people who share skin colors don’t necessarily share visions, objectives, purposes. But, these rallies give the impression that they do. The U.S. is in this predicament precisely because the Anglo-Saxons in charge at one time found false friendship with people of the same skin color, but whose values and vision were frighteningly different…
