It’s no secret that the various tentacles of the United States’ military-industrial complex are all doing whatever they can to whip up interest in a war with China. The latest effort comes from NBC’s Meet the Press host Chuck Todd, who all but openly drooled during a segment imagining what a 2027 conflict between the two powers over a Chinese invasion of Taiwan might look like. Jimmy Dore is still trying to masquerade as a “antiwar media critic.” What a joke. Dore pretends that America has not *already* been waging war against China for the past several years. It’s called American Hybrid War. This type of war is based on a mix of American military threats (the Pivot to Asia, AUKUS); economic warfare (Trump’s Trade War); destabilization campaigns (Hong Kong or Xinjiang separatism); and especially anti-China propaganda campaigns (like the “Xinjiang slave labor” or the “Wuhan Virus” propaganda that Jimmy Dore himself has peddled).
