Knowing how rotten and mendacious the American media normally are, this occurrence should not be remarkable in any way, and, technically, it isn’t. It’s just that the toxicity of the imperialist media has reached such bodacious levels that now, openly engaged in a campaign of propaganda to topple the Syrian government of Pres. Assad, and spread war throughout the Mideast, it will use any public figure it can lay its hypocritical tentacles on, to fan its lies, and who could do that better than the card-carrying Zionist warmonger par excellence …the unsinkable Joe Lieberman?
If you haven’t heard about this man, you haven’t been awake the last few decades. For Lieberman is special. Fact is, in the utterly slimy field of US politics Sen. Joe Lieberman—from Connecticut, no less—stands out…for outsize cynicism and sheer rottenness. Yea, we said SLIMY, as in:
In any self-respecting party this character would have been kicked out long ago, but, true to its jelly-like spine, the Democratic leadership did absolutely nothing when this notorious bastard openly sided with “the enemy.” Not once, but several times. And he was then wooed to stay in the fold…emetics anyone? Granted that in American politics ideology, not to mention principle, count for zilch, except when it comes to vociferous loyalty to capitalism, Zionism, imperialism and the rest of that insalubrious brew that constitutes, in effect, America’s true religion.
Anyhow, here’s CBS This Morning residents courtiers, the disgustingly unctuous Charlie Rose and Gayle King extending the red carpet to Lieberman. (Aug. 7, 2012)
Whose media is this, you may ask?

PARTIAL TRANSCRIPT:
(CBS News) As fighting in Syria continues and has spread to the center of Aleppo, Syria’s largest city, Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., said the U.S. must provide those fighting Basar al-Assad’s regime with weapons. “That’s the key,” Lieberman said on “CBS This Morning,” adding that he’d set up safe zones to allow the rebels to fight. “It would really help tip the military balance on the ground and bring the conflict to a quicker end.”
Lieberman, who is a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said he doesn’t want to see American troops on the ground but would “leave open the option” of flying American planes over Syria to prevent Assad from aerial attacks.

With diplomacy dead, US banks on Syrian rebel win
“This is a desperate man who gives every indication of holding on so long he may destroy his country,” Lieberman said of the concern that Assad could use chemical weapons against his people.
